For the third straight year, Apostle Jones & Friends return to the Legendary Grog Shop for a one-night-only show that has become a powerful annual gathering of some of Cleveland’s most compelling musicians and singers.

The Blues & Soul Slam is more than a concert — it’s an immersive, full-band celebration of the music that shaped us. Over the past two years, the walls have shaken with raw vocals, deep grooves, and once-in-a-lifetime collaborations. This is community at its best: artists stepping up together to throw down on the blues and soul songs that move us.

Year three is shaping up to be another landmark chapter — bigger energy, deeper cuts, and the kind of electric, shared experience you can only get when a packed room meets a stage full of soul.

Cleveland’s own Apostle Jones celebrates the release of their

first-ever full-length studio album with a special hometown performance at the iconic Beachland Ballroom.

Known for their soulful vocals, infectious grooves, and genre-blending sound, Apostle Jones brings years of live chemistry, community-driven artistry, and fearless storytelling into this debut record — a defining moment for the band’s evolution and creative voice.

Joining the night is Columbus-based psych-soul outfit Austin & The Syd Experience, delivering high-energy, immersive performances that blur

the lines between funk, rock, and 70’s soul.

Enhancing the live experience, visual artist Goo La Goon will provide immersive projections throughout the performance, transforming the

room into a fully realized audio-visual journey.

Following the main show, keep the night going with an official after party AFTER JONES in the Beachland Tavern featuring Apostle & Friends, bringing late-night grooves, special collaborations, and party to celebrate everyone who helped make the record possible!
